lost my Best friend Willow

Im not in a good place emotionally at the moment this as hit me so hard more than anything before , so for now this is all i will be posting .....

I lost my Best friend Willow Yesterday 

My Special Girl who used to lay 

by my side 24hr day and rest

Her gentle head upon my knee 

And shared her silent thoughts with me. 

Willow no longer comes when i call her name 

Or Retrieve her favourite toy

A voice far greater than my own 

Has called her to his golden throne. 

Although my eyes are filled with tears

And my Heart is beyond broken 

I thank god for the happy years 

He let Willow spend down here with me 

And for her love and loyalty. 

I'll wrap these treasured memories in a blanket of my love, 

and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.

When it is time for me to go 

And join her there, this much I know 

I shall not fear the transient dark 

For she will greet me with her Woo woo 

Her bright smile and her waggy tail
